Colombia TRQ Allocations on Beans

 

 

Colombia has recently published the 2018 tariff rate quota (TRQ) allocations beans, pork meats and beef cuts. The effective use date for these TRQ allocations is January 15th to December 31st, 2018.

Exports of Canadian adzuki beans to South Korea.

 

The government of Korea has recently advised the Embassy of Canada in Seoul that Canadian exports of adzuki beans (Korean tariff line HS 0713.32.9000) are now subject to agricultural safeguard measures under the Canada-Korea Free Trade Agreement (CKFTA). 

India Imposes 50% Tariff on Pea Imports

 

India’s Ministry of Finance’s Notification No. 84 /2017-Customs issued on November 8 confirms an immediate application of the bound tariff maximum of 50% on all imports of peas. It remains unclear at this point what treatment will be given to shipments in transit before announcement.

Trans-Pacific Partnership 2.0 impact Canada NAFTA leverage
